“…All or nothing
Or nothing at all
that is the art of David Reed…”
– Matthew Soko
David Reed is often known for his timeless synth projects such as Envenomist or Luasa Raelon, his noise duo Blading, and as a co-organizer for the monthly Columbus, Ohio experimental series Static. I’ve been fortunate enough to engage with David’s art through countless shows, recordings, and recently through a collaboration cassette. His music has both encouraged deep listening and meditation as well as pure anarchic violence through his Blading sets. When starting this label I wanted to publish David’s first book as thank you for the tireless work does.
I have followed David’s photo work for sometime now and have been consistently impressed with his compositions, the color, and the way he blends nature and the geometry of civilization into something that is uniquely and thoroughly *David*. His work here is in an invitation; he gently asks you to sit beside him and absorb the stillness of these settings. David juxtaposes the beautiful symmetry of nature (“Lush”) with a sort of architectural snapshot of culminated decisions made by man (“Still Life”). He asks to slow time down just to enjoy the beauty around him, even if it is corroding or out of reach. It’s a highly personal work and I’m so excited to share it.
David is a true artist and I hope this brings a bit more attention to an ever growing body of work worth celebrating.

The first seven purchases will receive a highly limited companion Evenomist cd. This was a show-only release for the Static series. After that I will be throwing in one random album from David’s discography (mostly CDs) until supplies run out.
